There is a war going on.
I didn’t ask for it to happen, yet I stand witness to the devastation it causes.
As I stood there listening to the news, my first thought was, “What could I do?”
I could pray.
I can pray for those who make the decisions that effect so many lives.
I can pray for those innocent victims of war who will die today.
I can pray for those displaced people who will lose their homes and treasured possessions today.
I can pray for those misguided terrorists who learned and only know to live in hate instead of love.
I could keep my spirits up and in doing so keep up the spirits of those around me.
I can enjoy my friends in the moment and cherish the love we share.
I can make someone else laugh and forget their troubles, if only for a moment.
I can share myself with others in such a way that they are touched, moved, and inspired to share themselves with others in turn, causing that ripple effect that sends endless hope throughout the Universe; Hope, that transforms the world and vanquishes terrorism through education and unconditional love.
I can be aware that while this is all going on, the terrorist would want to break my Spirit, yet I won’t be intimidated and let this happen.
I can continue to use the gifts God has given me to lighten the load for someone else.
I can continue to use my craft to bring beauty into the world that needs it so much, even more now.
I can continue to write about my experiences during these times, and share myself with others.
I can continue to teach others through my examples that our only true security is to be found Within.
I can continue to be “The Possibility of Possibilities in the presence of Unconditional Love for all.”
I think I will!
Thank you God for your continued inspiration!
Michele
