Kathy Lambert is founder and exec. director of Dress for Success Midwest, which provides interview-appropriate clothing to women referred from other nonprofits. Kathy has over 18 years experience in public speaking, health administration and image management. She received the 1999 Community Service Award from the Kemper Foundation of Commerce Bank. Brad Lambert, B.S. (U. of Illinois) is founder and executive director of Wheels For Success. Began in July 1999, it provides safe and reliable vehicles to selected applicants. Brad served as Vice president of a major national construction company for several years, then shifted to a people-celebrating field. To launch Wheels For Success, he met personally with over 25 business, political and civic leaders in St. Louis to share philosophies and ideas, and gain their input and support. Fifty-seven families have been awarded cars with new ones being added each month. Brad and Kathy have lived in the St. Louis region for 14 years.

Mark Deutsch

"In 1993, Mark began work on the first prototype of the Bazantar, an acoustic bass with additional sympathetic and drone strings. His intent was to create an instrument that would take advantage of these nonlinear mathematical patterns and make them more consciously audible. The difficulty lay in engineering a design that would be able to withstand the tension of the additional strings. He devised the unique solution of constructing a separate housing that would contain both the sympathetic strings and their resultant tension, which would then be mounted onto the instrument. After much experimentation, a finalized version was completed in October of 1997. "
