Feel The Love

Do you know what happens when you come to mind?
There is this miraculous smile that silently explodes onto my face.
I stop whatever I'm doing at the time and send you love in a prayer.
It may not be the biggest gesture in the world.
You're not even aware when it's happening.
But it is my most sincere one.
Unfortunately, not every moment has been as joy filled and pleasurable.
There have been times of darkness when I listened to my ego, and fear took over.
In those ego-controlled moments of weakness, I found myself deep in the fight to regain balance once more.
Balance... and the way out of a river of sadness and self-doubt.
In other moments though,
When I put my selfish feelings aside,
And once more find myself experiencing freedom from fear,
One thing continues to remain true.
It is the unconditional love I have for you.
It holds itself steadfast,
And triumphs over those fears that would surface to test it.
Moreover, it looks as though it is growing stronger with each test.
Nothing feels more natural for me but to send you this love.
There is nothing you need to do in return.
A friend doesn't need to ask for it, they just know it's there for them.
Know that it's there for you as well ... feel the love.
