All I Send You

If you cannot return my love -- that's O.K. -- I'll understand.
But let me send it anyway, just so you'll have it on hand.
For those times you find yourself alone and out there on your own,
Take my love that I have sent, place it in your heart, and give it a warm and cozy home.

And with this warm and cozy love,
I send you things I've been thinking of:

I send you my happy thoughts for those days that seemed too hard from the start.
I send you my hearty laugh to keep you young at heart.
I send you one of my warm tears of caring for when you need to give some away.
I send you the seed of compassion, for those you love, who've hurt you along the way.
I send you one of my moments of peace so that you can watch a sunset at the end of the day.
I send you a bit of patience for when the world doesn't always go your way.
I send you my lightest touch so that you can feel again, when life numbs your senses.
I send you some old, tested thoughts of wisdom for when you disagree with loved ones and need to mend some fences.
I send you the key to forgiveness for when you forget that you are man, here to help mankind.

And, finally, I send you all my fondest fantasies, that they may comfort you through the sands of time.
