Truth

If truth be pure,
Then let truth and love be one,
And nothing else be more important.

The Understanding of Truth At Seventeen

Truth is the belief that we are living our life to the best and fullest. As long as we think of our life as being truthful, and that we are doing right, we shall not fail. But we cannot just think. We must set about proving ourselves truthful every day to everyone as well as to ourselves. For proof lies not always in words but rather in actions. This does not mean that we prove ourselves at all times in life by saying; "look, I am doing this, this is right!" No! What is necessary is to never give someone reason to say "look at him and what he is doing, that is wrong. Isn't it possible that we miss the point also if we set about analyzing ourselves to see if what we do is right? We should not have to stop and think. It might be better for us not to live by a pattern of consistently doing the same things day in and out, and answering the questions with the same answers. Is it not better to try to face the same problems at a different angle each time, knowing that we still haven't found the "perfect" answer, but wanting and hoping for it to come in a different light? In some cases, it is wrong to do something and give the reason for doing it as being that it is the way you have always done it. Don't fear tomorrow, or today, or the things you did yesterday, nor of what wrong might have come about. Fear only having little time to live each day to the fullest!
