Awakening


The day begins as I awake to greet the darkness. It is the darkness of “the void” our Creator shares with us. This void allows the space to co-create each day anew if we so choose. The stars slowly dissolve with the dawn’s arrival. The sky transforms its colors from deep dark black, to many mellower faded shades of gray, and then again into a morning calm light blue canvas, long before I actually see the sun’s approaching presence.

All that I could not see before becomes clearer in this Light of day. There are no longer questions of what lies ahead, for my inner vision has awakened as well. The sun lends its contribution, shadowing the objects of my consciousness with a surprising chameleon-like perspective. I begin to see the many possibilities of viewing each new experience with its unfolding. And, as this new day is set into motion, I choose to begin once more, redefining and honoring my covenant with the Creator, Humanity, and all of Nature, in the Oneness we share together.
